Adjunct Faculty District Activities Fund (AFDAF)

AFA and the District have agreed that available funds* will be used to pay adjunct faculty for attending meetings of key District-wide committees and councils, such as Academic Senate.

*The source of funds for AFDAF comes from the State of California "Adjunct Faculty Salary Enhancement Funds," part-tme categoricals.  AFDAF was essentially eliminated when the State cut categorical funding in 2009-10.  To learn about the history of part-time categorical funding, the cuts, and how to advocate for restoration, see AFA Advocacy.
