AFA Executive Council Formalizes
Adjunct Cabinet Position
The AFA Council Composition Team (ACCT) delivered its report on December 8 (click here to read the report), and since then the Executive Council and Cabinet have devoted time at several meetings to discussing the report and considering the Team's recommendations. One recommendation that the Council all agreed on was that the AFA Cabinet should include an Adjunct Cabinet Representative position, which strengthens and formalizes the previous Adjunct Cabinet Liaison position. The Council unanimously approved the new position and its incorporation into AFA policy at the February 9, 2011 Executive Council meeting. The Adjunct Cabinet Representative will attend Cabinet and Council meetings and will represent the interests of adjunct faculty to these two bodies.
